My interests

My interests vary from those in Sciences and Math to the ones in Art. Throughout my School years I always paid extra attention to the science courses, as I realized their importance in regards to my future. I wanted to go to a Medical School since I was a young girl. I was and still am interested in Neurology. I love to read books about the brain and the whole nervous system in general. Besides, I always liked things that were not that well known, and unexplored. I also love to help others, so it seems, that medicine is a perfect profession for me.

Art was my passion since my young school years. I began to practice drawing and painting when I was about eight years old, and since then, I did not lose interest in it. Right now I am going through a stage of drawing portraits of my family. I already drew my Dad, Grandmother, Great-grandparents, my cousin and I also have on my account couple of portraits of my friends.

My room is full of various drawings and reproductions of paintings mainly of Impressionist painters, Monet, and Renoir. Impressionism is the type of art I absolutely am fond of.

I also play piano. I can’t say I am that terribly good in it, mainly because I started to play it not so long ago, and presently I don’t have much time to develop my interest in this area. Nonetheless I want to play it well and my goal is to learn how to do that if not now, then in future, when I will have more spare time.

In future I also want to learn fencing, something I wanted to do for a long time. I actually I had an opportunity once to take fencing lessons, but since that was grade thirteen in High School, I was extremely busy, and sadly I came to a conclusion that for now, I will keep on dreaming, until a better time. Tennis is also one of those things I want to be good at. I like to play it, but so far I am not ashamed to admit, I ‘m a bit clumsy at it, which I am sure, with practice, will disappear.

As it is seen, I have many interests, some of which are still being undeveloped, but knowing my stubborn nature, I will most likely make some of my dreams come true.
